‼️ UPDATE: “Only one person survived” in the crash of a plane carrying 242 people near the airport in the western Indian city of Ahmedabad on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
The Indian National Police Agency confirmed that the survivor is in hospital. The victim has been identified as Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, a British national (of Indian origin), who was sitting in seat number 11A.
The cause of the crash of the Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which was bound for London, United Kingdom, has not yet been confirmed.
