As per a sworn declaration from a previous assistant at Roc Nation, Beyoncé discreetly stepped in prior to Zendaya’s attendance at the event. During a Tom Ford afterparty, it is reported that Beyoncé took Zendaya aside, placed her hand on Zendaya’s wrist, and advised, “Do not go upstairs, regardless of what they may say.” When Zendaya responded with a nervous laugh, Beyoncé maintained a serious demeanor. “Not everyone who ascends returns unchanged,” she remarked before departing.
